Creating and Viewing New Topics  

After logging in, the first Social Media Command Center Page that opens is called the Topic Overview Page.  On the left side of the page, there will be a list of topics that you or the InTTENSITY team have created. Depending on the services personally provided to you by the InTTENSITY team, topics may or may not have been created for you prior to your initial log in.  When first logging-in, the Topic Overview page will default to the first topic in your list's profile.

To Create a New Topic:

At the top of the list of existing topics, there is a link labeled 'Create Topic'.  Click this label and enter the desired title of the new topic when prompted. The newly created topic will then be added to the list of existing topics and will be given a profile. The aggregation of data for the new topic will begin at the time of the topic's creation. 

To View a Topic's Section: 

Every topic in the list on the left side of the page has a overview profile.  To view this profile, click the topic's title in the Topic List.  From each topic's profile, you can perform a few actions fundamental to the use of SMCC.  This is the main dashboard for the creation and editing of rules, as well as the deletion and sharing of topics, as described in Topic Management.   From here, you can also view a more historic aggregation of data in the Rate and Trend Graphs, as well as a view of the most popular hashtags and locations for the topic over the past week.
