Available Widgets
Geolocations Widget-- This widget shows a bar graph of the reach of the sixteen most common geolocations identified in the documents appearing in the live feed of the topic. A list of the sixteen topics appears on the right side of the graph, organized, from top to bottom, from most to least popular.
Map Widget-- The Map Widget is a more intuitive view of the location of the authors of the documents present in the live feed. Every time a document appears in the filters of the topic selected and has a geolocation entity, a pin is assigned to that document that is illustrated on the map at that location. By hovering over a pin, you can view the text of the document associated with the pin. These pins disappear after the selected time period to make way for new author locations.
Conversation Widget-- This widget shows the live feed of the documents coming into the page in real time. As the documents come in, they appear in the live feed in order of post recent posting time to least. You can scroll down to less recent posts, or page through the documents using the icons in the upper right corner to go further back into the history of the topic. Using the other icons present in the upper right of the widget box, you can toggle on and off various sources of input into the feed, such as twitter, google plus, RSS forums, and blogs. In addition, clicking on any document's posting in this widget will open a new window containing the source of the posting. Also, remember that you can pause the data aggregation at any time to peruse the data.
Event_Histo Widget-- This widget shows a line graph of the raw count of documents (in documents per second) coming into the live feed and containing one of the fifteen most common event-type entities. The graph also shows a break-down of each of the fifteen event entities' data, with a list of the fifteen events, from most to least frequent, acting as a legend on the right of the graph.
Entity_Histo Widget-- This widget features a line graph of the data aggregated over the past selected time period for each of the fifteen most common entities present in the live feed. Unlike most of the other widgets described thus far, this graph shows the raw documents per second of entities appearing in the live feed, rather than the reach of the data. Like the others, this widget houses a list of the fifteen entities on the right side of the graph, from most frequent to least.
Event_Bar Widget-- This widget shows a bar graph of the reach of the fifteen most common event-type entities appearing in the documents in the live feed of your selected topic. This would include event entities such as NEG_SENTIMENT, ATTACK, and TRAVEL. A list of the fifteen most frequent event types corresponding to the graph, in order from most common to least common, is shown to the right of the graph.
Category_Bar Widget-- This widget shows a bar graph of the reach of the sixteen most common category types appearing in the live feed. This graph will include types of speech such as, Customer Terms, Transaction Terms, and Question. A legend of the category types appearing in the graph is located to the right of the graph, in order from most frequent to least.
Entity_Bar Widget-- This widget shows a bar graph of the reach of the sixteen most frequent entity types present in documents throughout the live feed of data. This widget will include entities such as PERSON, CORPORATION, and HARDWARE. A list of the sixteen entities featured in the graph is found next to the graph, in order, from top to bottom, most popular to least.
Sentiment Widget-- This widget shows a bar graph on the types of sentiment detected by the text extractor in the documents in the live feed. Unlike the other widgets, Clicking on a type of sentiment will automatically put a filter on the rest of the live feed for that type. There is no 'filter' icon for this widget.
Volume Widget-- This widget shows the raw count of data in the live feed of the selected topic. It does not sort the data into any fields, it only counts the number of documents appearing in the live feed and displays this data as a line graph of documents per second in the past selected timeframe.
URLs Widget-- This widget shows a bar graph of the reach of the sixteen most common urls appearing in either the text of the documents in the live feed or as the origin of documents in the live feed. These urls are listed to the right of the graph and are sorted highest to lowest, in terms of popularity of reach.
Types Widget-- This widget shows a bar graph of the types of sources of documents currently coming into the live feed. This filters on types such as Twitter, weblogs, and mainstream news. These are listed highest to lowest. in terms of popularity of source in the topic.
